About Kept

Kept was built for one wedding: my best friend's, on 8 August 2026. By the morning after, 24 guests had filled the box with 346 photos.

I'm Andrew Tjong, and Kept started as a promise to the groom: every guest would get a camera, not just the ones willing to download an app, and the couple would never be charged to keep their own photos. The first version ran on real tables with printed QR cards, on venue wifi, through a real dance floor. What survived that night is the product you see here.

The night taught us things no demo could: 71% of guests picked up the camera, the median contributor took 9 photos, and the dance floor peaked at 107 photos in a single hour. We publish that data because we would have wanted to read it before our own event.

The promise Kept is built on

Wedding photos should not have a landlord. Whatever tier you are on, downloading your full-resolution photos is free, forever. No export fee, no expiring gallery, no subscription guarding your own memories. The whole price is public, one-time, and per event, and the free tier is the full product for events up to 8 guests.

How we compare ourselves

We build Kept, so when we compare it to other guest camera apps, we state competitors' prices plainly, name what each app does better than we do, and say who shouldn't pick us. If anything we publish ever reads unfair or out of date, email hello@kept.pictures and we will fix it.
