Kept gives every wedding guest a disposable camera on the phone already in their pocket: scan a QR code, shoot a limited roll in the browser — iPhone or Android, no app download — and the box of photos stays sealed until opening day.

How it works
- Create your event in the Kept iOS app. You get a six-letter code, a QR code, and print-ready table cards.
- Guests scan and shoot. The camera opens in their browser — any phone, no download, no account. Each guest gets a limited roll (you pick the shot count), and nobody can preview or delete their way to a perfect feed.
- The box opens on opening day. Photos stay sealed until the reveal time you chose. Then everyone opens the box together and relives the night.
Why guests actually participate
Every step you add between a guest and the shutter loses guests. An app install is the biggest step there is: it means an app store, a password, storage space, and a decision — in the middle of a party. Kept's camera is a link. Scanning the table card is the entire onboarding, for a 19-year-old cousin and an 80-year-old grandmother alike.
The same goes for platform. Roughly half the phones at most weddings are Android. iCloud Shared Albums can't take uploads from them, and several guest-camera apps are iPhone-only. A camera that excludes half the room isn't a guest camera — which is why Kept's guest side is browser-based and platform-blind.

Honest note: if your event is under ten people, all iPhone, and you want a live feed rather than a reveal, an iCloud Shared Album is free and fine. Kept is for the real thing — a room full of mixed phones, one night that matters, and photos you want kept.
Common questions
Do wedding guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code on their table card and the camera opens directly in their phone's browser. It works the same on iPhone and Android. No download, no account, no sign-up.
Does it work for Android guests?
Yes, fully. The guest camera runs in the browser, so Android guests join, shoot, and view the opened box exactly like iPhone guests. This is the main difference from iCloud Shared Albums, which Android guests cannot upload to, and from iPhone-only guest camera apps.
When do we see the photos?
The box stays sealed until opening day — by default the morning after the wedding. You set the reveal time. Until then, nobody (optionally including you) can peek, which is what keeps guests shooting honestly all night.
How many photos can each guest take?
You choose a shot limit per guest (36 by default, up to 100), like a roll of film in a disposable camera. A limited roll makes guests intentional: fewer duplicates, more real moments.
What does it cost?
Free for events up to 8 guests with every feature included. Unlimited guests is a one-time €89.99 per event — no subscription. Downloading your full-resolution photos is always free.
How is this different from a physical disposable camera on each table?
Physical disposables for 15 tables cost roughly $200–$400 with film development, take weeks to develop, and many shots are lost to bad exposure. Kept keeps the same ritual — limited shots, no previews, a reveal — with full-quality phone photos, nothing to collect at the end of the night, and the box opening the next morning.
Do the photos expire?
Your gallery stays browsable, and downloading your originals is free from day one — your photos are yours, on your own storage, forever. Kept never charges to keep or export your own photos.
